Nov 05, 2009 · I really detest pantyhose. They are expensive because they don’t last. They are finicky and get all twisted around. They require me to keep my nails smooth and add time to my morning routine/hysteria. They are HOT. They look frumpy. Yech! It’s too hot here to wear tights or boots most of the year.
The purpose of pantyhose and tights is almost the same. Essentially, they are both garments that cover your legs and work as an extra layer. While ‘pantyhose’ is an American term, they are referred to as ‘tights’ in parts of Europe. However, tights are usually opaque while pantyhose are usually sheer and made out of thin fabric.

Jan 20, 2009 · I detest pantyhose. They are so uncomfortable and yes they always seem to be too big/too small/too rough etc… I enjoy summer as you can get away with wearing a skirt sans hosiery. That being said, sometimes I do enjoy wearing a garter belt and stockings although they seem to be only on for a short period of time lol.

Sep 30, 2008 · And if you get a run in pantyhose, they’re "finished" whereas in hosiery, if you get a run, you throw the one stocking away, keep the other, so you have a spare for your new pair, so basically you have THREE pair.
