Welcome to the Forest Lake Teen Center Extreme Fundraiser. Sheldon Anderson, Mayor of the City of Wyoming has agreed to brave the winter cold and stay on top of the roof of Wyoming City Hall beginning at 3:00pm February 23rd, 2009 until March 1st to help keep the Forest Lake Teen Center Open!
The Center home to the largest local teen substance program in the county, serving over 5,500 teens since it opened in 2001. With a success rate of nearly 80-percent, the Daniel Bryant Youth & Family Center has become a model for other youth drug and alcohol programs around the country.
Freeport High college senior Ellie Soule captured an African landscape to help raise money for the Port Teen Center. Using 100 canoe paddles donated by L.L. Bean, students, parents and community members painted designs for the March 25 auction to benefit the teen center located in the Freeport Communcity Center.
