Jul 28, 2008 · Hi, I have a small maltese 7 lbs, she is soo cute, I am very good at brushing her hair every day. She is 1 , she never had her hair shaved so short!!! I ask the groomer to take 1 inch off, just the ends to be cut.

Oct 01, 2015 · Personally I don’t like the look of a shaved maltese—but that is just my personal preference. I love it that they have hair—that is part of their character to me. I don’t mind a shorter cut at all (just not shaved), but the face needs to be a maltese face.
