While perhaps not as widely recalled as their weeklong stint guest-hosting The Mike Douglas Show, John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s appearances on The Dick Cavett Show are no less notable or entertaining. The couple’s first visit, included in this collection, came in September 1971, when they were the evening’s only guests.
